Gardens and Parks

Taman Tasik Perdana
Also known as KL Lake Gardens (right), it is the city’s most popular park. It offers facilities for children’s playgrounds, jogging tracks, exercise stations and rowing boats.

The Anniversary Theatre, set in a secluded valley within the park, is the venue for regular musical and cultural performances. Visitors can walk through a vista of exotic blooms, luxuriant foliage, imposing sculptures, creative theme parks and majestic-looking rain trees.

Within its vicinity is the Orchid and Hibiscus Gardens which have over 800 species of exotic Malaysian orchids. Also found here are some 500 varieties of rare and exotic blooms in an array of colours and shades.

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa
A large lake forms the main attraction of this popular park which is also a recreational spot. There are facilities for water sports, jogging, tennis, exercise areas and children’s playground. A floating restaurant by the lake’s edge offers delicious local cuisine.

Taman Tasik Permaisuri
Another “green lung” of KL, this park comprises a lovely man-made lake complete with ornamental fountains, a 7-tiered flower terrace, a traditional Malay garden and a herb garden abounding with aromatic local herbs.

ASEAN Sculpture Garden
This beautifully landscaped garden has a collection of prize-winning sculptures by some of the finest artists in the ASEAN region.
