The current population of KL is estimated
at 1.5 million. It is a melting pot of diverse cultures with main racial
groups of Malays, Chinese and Indians. Malay is the national language but
English is widely spoken.
Islam is the official religion but Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity and other
religions are practised freely.
Food
Eating out in Kuala Lumpur is a real
gastronomic adventure. There is such a diverse and rich variety of food that
