National Zoo and Aquarium
The National Zoo houses 200 species of animals, birds and reptiles while the aquarium has 80 species of marine and fresh-water life.

The following animal parks are located within the vicinity of the KL Lake Gardens.

The Bird Park is a haven for many species of birds from around the world. The environment of the Bird Park has been carefully created to resemble their natural habitats. The Butterfly Park features 6,000 butterflies from over 120 species. Visitors may mingle with the tame deers which roam freely in the Deer Park.
